Early finish today
Again, my sincere thanks for your understanding with my earlier message about an early finish today. Please know we do not take these decisions lightly and will do everything we can to minimise disruption to teaching and learning.
Whānau and Excellence Evening
Thanks too to those of you who attended our Whānau and Excellence Evening / Amazing Race on Wednesday. It was fantastic to meet many of you either at the barbeque or watching our cultural groups perform. Equally it was very special to acknowledge our Student Leaders for this year, as well as those students who gained excellence in NCEA. Congratulations too to the following three students who won a Chromebook as part of the amazing race! They can make arrangements to collect their device from my office.
- Cody Petersen Year 11
- Ayden Pikokivaka Year 9
- Johlee Toetoe Year 11
Photolife on Monday
Please note that student ID and class photos will be taken on Monday 4 March. Students must be in correct uniform to take part – a reminder please about the following:
- No cut off vests – these are not part of our school uniform and must not be worn.
- No facial piercings except where a cultural exemption has been granted by the Principal.
- No visible clothing under the uniform.
- One taonga / piece of cultural jewellery / necklace.
I hope you all have an enjoyable Friday and weekend ahead.
Ngā mihi
