Hi all
Return of Junior Students
As announced by the Minister of Education we can now plan for a return of our junior students. We have given considerable thought to how we can do this in a way that welcomes back students that wish to return, but also ensures the health and safety of all members of our community.
This means we will be offering two options to junior students – OPTION A is to continue with distance learning, and OPTION B is to combine some onsite learning with distance learning. Please see further information below about these two options:
OPTION A - Students continuing with distance learning
Year 9 students – please come to the ‘drop and swap’ area at the front of the school from 9.30 am to 10.30 am on Monday 22 November to drop off your school device and charger (if you have one) and swap it for the home learning pack for the remainder of the year.
Year 10 students – please come to the ‘drop and swap’ area at the front of the school from 9.30 am to 10.30 am on Tuesday 23 November to drop off your school device and charger (if you have one) and swap it for the home learning pack for the remainder of the year.
OPTION B - Students combining onsite learning with distance learning
Year 9 students – Mondays and Wednesdays 9.30 am to 3.10 pm
Year 10 students – Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30 am to 3.10 pm
Only senior students sitting completing assessments will be onsite on Fridays.
A new timetable will be issued on Monday 22 November for Year 9 students and Tuesday 23 November for Year 10 students. This will ensure all students have a mix of subjects over the remainder of the year.

Device return
As we need to ensure that we have as many as possible devices returned by the end of the year we will be collecting in junior devices from 22 November and replacing these with a ‘hard pack’ learning pack. This will give all junior students more than sufficient work to complete over the remainder of the year.

Yearbook 2021
All Year 13s have been gifted a yearbook this year as a memento of their final year, because they have been unable to have any ‘normal’ end-of-year celebrations. There are a limited number of copies available for sale to all other year levels, they are $20 each. Yearbooks can be purchased from the office from the 22nd of November.
Student Vaccination information
As mentioned previously, while it is not mandatory we would like as many students as possible who are wanting to come onsite to be vaccinated before returning. We are also required to collect the information about the vaccination status of all ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students. Thank you to those students and their parents who have provided their vaccination status to us. We now need all remaining students to please provide this information as soon as possible by clicking on this link and completing the form:
Student vaccination register:
The form will give you the opportunity to upload evidence of your vaccination so please have a photo ready to do this if you have one. Alternatively, you can bring your evidence to school and complete a paper form when you are next on-site. This form will also be available from the school office from 22 November.
I will be back in touch again next Tuesday with further details about our return as I receive more details from the Ministry of Education.
Kind regards
Louise
